@Shital Thakkar,Rental markets in a lot of places are "super hot" due to  the post-crash housing shortage.

The demand is up because everyone just about stopped building for years, so now we have a housing shortages as the number of people entering the market due to age and income continue to grow even tho we stopped adding houses for a few years while we recovered from the housing crash.The real concern is slow or no growth in the economy or global economy right now, stagnation.

Is there a shortage of housing especially in rentals?  

Some of the areas I have rentals in have severe shortages do to the influx of wind farm work.

The MLS is too thin and over saturated this days and most of the properties are way overbid instantly.All that said I am licensed broker 10+yrs, active wholesaler/rehab-er 10+yrs and our company doesn't have any shortage of investments properties.

Plus fantastic appreciation because of the growing job base and housing shortage.

There is NOT a shortage of deals.

It caused some serious foreign and domestic money to come pouring in to the Grand Rapids area and we are currently in a housing (and rental) shortage of historical proportions.  

Heber is small but growing fast and there's a huge shortage for rentals there, we're currently building rentals there, they're sold out but we are definitely acquiring more land to build more much needed rentals up there. 

We are currently negotiating the final payoff amount with the borrower, as there is a shortage of cash needed to close the refinance.
