Ouch.and you see how unpopular the airlines are when they make them buy two seats and or get off the plane.I was on a flight one time from Acapulco to SF  and we had that very issue delayed the plane 4 hours as arguments ensued..

My opinion since I made the mistake already :) was that if I had to get on a plane to go see the property, it becomes a much more expensive proposition to deal with and I was less likely to do it.

Because I hopped a plane just a couple days after high school graduation, I basically have no idea how to do adult life in the USA... so clearly the thing to do in this situation is get involved in real estate investing, ha!
