Hi, I'm located in Fall River, Ma. Wondering if anyone else has worked with any good carpenters/framers in the southeastern ma area who are investor friendly?

I'm looking at Worcester in Boston, Mass. 

For the most part, people are much more skeptical on solar because it's installed on the roof, impacts athletics, and it's something that needs to be "dealt with" (either maintenance, contract with supplier, etc.).As @Charlie MacPherson added, mini-splits are a great value-add and through mass saves you can get a 10 year 0% loan if they having heating capability.As for Geothermal -- A real challenge can be ground rock in this area.

In Mass if the tenant looses their voucher the state turns their back on the landlord.  

I think a mass mailing to commercial property managers and brokers in your target cities.... maybe buy the list from some associations...?  

@David Detweiler - it’s likely different state by state, but I know in mass one of the additional “hassles” would be having to install a sprinkler system as part of the fire prevention system.  

I currently have never done a flip of this degree, so i wanted to get some input from the masses on the numbers.
