Do you have a price range in mind for the various properties you might acquire? 

While none of this provides any evidence one way or the other about the legality- legitimacy of the offering or company in question, it does say something about the state of mind of at least one person who invested in this offering. 

In my mind, the reason for doing this would be to have two engaged platforms versus one dominant one.

In your mind, is losing $9,500 worth saving $195 per month? 

We all invest in real estate in order to make money, and keep in mind that someone who can only afford to live in a mobile home and seller-finance to buy the land is probably tight on funds. 

There are opportunities out there but some strategies are risky. 1 - Airbnb (STR) comes to mind - very competitive, very saturated and becoming highly regulated.2 - Most STRs are transitioning to MTR so that market will be saturated soon if it isn't already.3 - Insurance crisis in florida is getting bad so those costs will eat up cashflow and short term appreciation.

Tourism (LTR transitioning to STR) and lack of housing  make it a very strong market if you don't mind a niche. 

But keep in mind, the top of their list is going to be people that they’ve worked with in the past and probably closed deals with.

I am hoping to connect with other like-minded investors that have or are currently in this process. 

Also, keep in mind that if you do self manage, you do put yourself at more risk for a legal issues.
