It looks like this particular investor preferred the low level price point and the risks that come along with it even though he was buying from a company who could offer him both types of investments on the complete opposite side of the risk spectrum.

And all the deals I do the exit on a fully rehabbed home that I fund and pay for the rehab etc for my clients. is basically 250 and under .. there is not an issue with affordability in much of the US the issue is buyers preferences.

It depends on where you want to live, income, personality, and other factors.You could buy a large home and rent out the individual rooms to cover expenses, but this comes with problems.
