And the fact that the rising supply is accompanied by deteriorating credit quality is a factor as well.

Things will break and deteriorate faster in a vacant house than if someone is living there.

Maintenance, oil filter leaks, oil tank deterioration, and tenant perception, plus the nuisance of running out of oil and having to go in and prime the system, all point to natural gas.

The kitchen floor did not deteriorate significantly since 5/1.

They easily conceal deteriorated original ceilings and it's much easier to install new lighting above a drop ceiling than above a crumbly plaster or tin ceiling.

All it takes is one break in, mold, etc for that thing to deteriorate quickly. 

My thought is since the windows are already compromised they could easily deteriorate further with normal use and then it becomes a capital expenditure.  

Of course, there are credit risk metrics that we keep an eye on in case the client's ability to pay deteriorates further. 

Neighborhoods are deteriorating, the economy is struggling, and the community is shaky at best.
