Usually if the college has a foundation, they will have a director that is in charge of housing for students and they can be a great resource for landlords who are allocating some units for students like you may be.

So you need to have the discussion with your accountant to make sure they agree on the amount allocation.  

Having a family there are always reasons why funds cannot be allocated towards starting a business or investments.

It depends on the profit/loss allocation on the operating agreement.

My total net credit balances owed across all cards and loans is not changing, just the allocation.

For example:Co-op has 100 units and an outstanding underlying mortgage of $20,000,000 ($200,000 per unit allocated).

Our Lease Contract doesn't currently say that all payments will be applied to non-rent charges first, oldest to newest, but it also doesn't say anything about how we may allocate the payments tenants make to us.

The liquid capital I have allocated for acquisition is in the $100k-$130k range. it may not be much but I am looking for properties that need a lot of work and being that i'm in construction this part or the process should be less of an expense for me.
