I personally am a huge believer in brushing up on the laws.

Brush it off and move on.

Carpet is merely a giant lint brush fastened to your floor.

Would you have a mechanic work on your mouth just because he knows how to brush his teeth?

There is a primer of the same brand that you need to apply first for a strong bond to the concrete floor ( you can brush or roll it ). 

I wish my kids would get involve like you I think I ruin them because I put a paint brush in their hands and told them they had to work to pay off their student loans to me:)

Also the cabinet hardware needs to be something else - maybe brushed nickel.I am not afraid of color and I like yellow walls - just not That yellow.

Change out the fixtures to brushed nickel.
