At the company, I work with we are affiliated to a RE hedge Fund, which is pretty sweet if you need the financing, capital or if you do not have the capital we could take over the deal and pay you a 25% of the net profit once we sell it. 

Be prepared to hire a lawyer not affiliated with your PM if they do sue and just remember if they do actually file suit it does not mean they will win.

Iam looking to get into multi unit too.. .ill have my Fl license end of summer...I rent out many single family homes in st augustine; Jax.......Im looking for the right broker myself...even to affiliate with, for investor minded,, and multi unit..Ill trade ya info when I find out.

That would be like judging a Real Estate Agent based on the brokerage he is affiliated with.It sounds like you found an LO who is responsive and an expert in his market so I wouldn't hesitate.
