I know I mentioned this earlier, but I think a few of the key differences in my experience are that I'm local and it's a small city where everyone knows everyone and it's built into the culture to be friendly, although I'm licensed I NEVER try to sell my services as an real estate agent to anyone I am cold-calling, and I only call people with vacant lots.
