Michaela...If this helps....I once had two young female applicants (ADULTS by the way) sign a lease for one of my houses.  

If someone says "girl" about you or another adult female say "do you mean woman" as many times as it takes for them to change.

Also, from an architect/designer and female perspective, always put a double sink with lots of counter space in the master.
