I was also wondering about this - what are the benefits of getting a CRA loan vs. a regular bank loan for purchasing say real estate to rent to lower-to-middle income households?

Today, I'm out of the Corps and have an executive position in, what's becoming, a household brand name.I enjoy my day job.  

No interruptions, no tv, no household chores, etc.

Our combined student loan debt is hovering around 250k with avg interest of 6%Avg household income is around 130kCurrently house hacking- breaking evenThe issue is, if we concentrate on paying the student loans first (gazelle intensity) we'd be able to knock out the loans in about 4-5 years.

Economic info like jobs and average household income, population, comparable property sales....Do you have a specific opportunity in mind?

You might bring a small package of file folders or big manila envelopes, in case you discover any "important" paperwork you want to keep, like the deed to the house, or the most recent house insurance bill - stuff like that.Maybe a small household-type paper shredder if you find old bills or other financial statements that aren't current, but that you don't want to just toss in the trash.
