I am interested in "house hacking" - finding a duplex or triplex, using traditional bank financing for the purchase, living in one unit, and renting out the other unit(s) in order to supplement or completely cover my living expenses.

My goal was always to have them paid off quick and have 10-12k/month in passive income from 10 properties to help supplement my 401k.  

Though I don’t plan on leaving my current role any time soon which is a Manager at Equinox I do want to get into REI and supplement our income for the time being.

Was doing some research the other day on seed capital options and actually came across some of the offerings by WCAP and called them up and they were able to help me secure some credit which I'm going to use to supplement my other debt options.

The goal for these two jobs is to gain knowledge and supplement my job I desperately want to leave.

We have, on occasion, put in a supplemental window unit if the CHA wasn't able to keep up and it became an ongoing issue. 

I would add the supplement to the Partners for Good Housing where the page explains hazards associated with lead water supply piping and requires landlord's disclosure of any lead water supply piping.And what about smoking policy disclosure?

@Matty P.In general, yes, closing costs are higher than a regular FHA loan.You still have to pay MIP upfront and monthly like a regular FHA loan.However, with a 203K you will be charged supplemental origination fees.

We do have other marketing vehicles that are supplements to the direct mail- text messages and RVM totaling an additional 3k... but they all point back to a letter we sent someone.
