I replied promptly on Sat Oct 7th and have not head back since.I am presuming they cannot accept the transaction, which is totally fine.

We promptly pay the rent on the first of every month. 

The price of the repair has no bearing on the issue, which is why the LL must be prompt to get the work done.The dispute escalate out of control by unreasonable choices on both sides IMO, and the eviction is evidence of push and shove to the loss of both parties - - loose-loose.

This will either prompt a call or you have begun the process of eviction.

Its also the responsibility of the tenant to report maintenance issues promptly.  

To which I promptly responded, everything was clearly articulated in the lease agreement and the renters addendum and if you so choose we can end the application process now and I can refund all of your deposit and first months rent.
