Other than that we did the kitchen floor to ceiling, and we had the hardwoods redone the rest was mostly cosmetic smoothing walls and repainting and updating old hardware. we did a fair amount landscaping and tree trimming that really made the yard look much bigger!

I covered a light brown ceiling with one coat.For bathrooms and kitchens, consider semi-gloss instead of satin.For trim and doors, use high-gloss.I've also used Glidden exterior paint for years, with good results.In my view, the extra cost of "paint plus primer" (called DUO in Glidden's line) or Behr paint at Home Depot is not worth it.

Generally I dislike shiny paint, so semi gloss for trim and satin for walls.

*If 2x4 or 3x6 (regular subway tile) used, try to get the matching bullnose pieces with it for the ends and around the shampoo box if any, otherwise use a 8' metal end piece (like schluder metal trim).

After two weeks, the moisture would have wicked up into the walls and base trim, depending on material, and as long as moisture is present mold/mildew will grow and spread.Mold Remediation is just a fancy phrase for "blank check, please".
