I've seen dogs chew through it (beside the meter box where the fiber drop ran to the house), landscaping crews routinely cut it, sprinkler installers, homeowners clip it while trimming bushes/trees, even seen a case where wasps chewed through it!

On the walls it does create some issues where it meets p with trim but trim would be removed if you demoed the wall to studs anyway.

Other than that we did the kitchen floor to ceiling, and we had the hardwoods redone the rest was mostly cosmetic smoothing walls and repainting and updating old hardware. we did a fair amount landscaping and tree trimming that really made the yard look much bigger!

I covered a light brown ceiling with one coat.For bathrooms and kitchens, consider semi-gloss instead of satin.For trim and doors, use high-gloss.I've also used Glidden exterior paint for years, with good results.In my view, the extra cost of "paint plus primer" (called DUO in Glidden's line) or Behr paint at Home Depot is not worth it.
