You should look into @Richard Cohn 's meeting as well since that should be pretty easy for you as well.Lot of other ones in South East MA (The Cape, Plymouth and Rockland off the top of my head) and many more as you get to Boston and North.BiggerPockets will be a great resource to network and learn.

I would say Springfield is great on the south side, southeast side, and small pockets on the west for single family homes.
