The Fed raising the interest rate is having some affect, but also on my FHA loans, I'm seeing more people needing a co-borrower to qualify.

Thank you in advance. well for me remember I am building new construction communities.. so little different than the mom and pop agents.but our lender does this.1. provides all our flyers and marketing pieces as a co brand.. 2. provides our booties.3. puts together all the different financing options and has hand outs at our opens.4.

I would discuss whether the tenant wanted the roommate to be a co-tenant or just an occupant that they can get rid of at their own discretion.

Anyone, sister, father, ex etc. who is supporting a tenant's cash flow should be on the lease as a co-signor and identified in that way.... and do your due diligence with at min. a credit check on the co-signor.

Also requires them to get a co-sginer and although only requires a tenant to have 3x monthly income, requires a co-signer to have 5x monthly income.
