If anyone out there could steer me in the right direction, it sure would be appreciated.

Too many times in my career, I have sought out, listened to, and applied the advice of those that were around me, because it was easy, because they were brothers in arms, I know them, they know me and they wouldn't steer me wrong. 

Many of the real players at these meetings, seem to politely steer clear of newbies.

As a real estate broker, I cannot steer you in or out of a neighborhood or market area.

I have a few recommendations that I am happy to share, but it will be easier to steer you in the right direction if I know what you're trying to do.

Here is an example I have been interested in note investing I bought a book on amazon  Note Brokering for $1.00 The book had tons of links that steer you deeper and deeper into forums,seminars,mentoring,etc etc.

I have a property management company that I want to steer everyone away from.

Appraisers, on the other hand, are not going to steer too far away from asking price.  

@Corby Goade Can't make any recommendations for Cleveland or Columbus but I would be more than happy to help steer you in the right direction here in Indy. 

Unfortunately for Sage to give a name of any closing company or attorney is considered "steering".
