. - thanks for resetting some expectations here. this may take me a little longer than i expected.. haha@Ivan Barratt - love this. always inspirational to know that there's been people whose done it before. i guess for me it's a two fold thing - take action today, focus on the ONE thing but still have some vision for where I want to end up and maybe more importantly, why i do what i do.

I actually went back for a logo after the cards, and it was even easier than the first time around.It is a lot of back and forth in proofing but as long as your answer their questionaire and articulate what you know you DONT want and DO want... they understood my vision instantly.Reading all these comments, I cant help but think "maybe you got bad service because you are a bad customer," lol just saying... 

After working through some numbers with my GC, we decided we'd need ~$100k to accomplish my vision for the property.

I am a very tactical and hands on type of person, but it does not fit my vision to be this way in my business to buy properties.

I am certainly not in the hyperinflation camp, because historically that has never happened with the core currency (U.S. dollar), only peripheral currencies.

I've found that most of the time, the realtors have narrow vision and are the LAST to know what is going on, imo.

That was the only tangible and realistic thing at the time and as time went on and I learned more I increased my goals even though my vision stayed the same.

Eddie, you are correct.It really depends on how accurate your vision of the future is.

Why risk an appraiser guessing how you plan to renovate the home, when you can equip them with a SOW that beautifully illustrates your vision?

The key is to think on it often, and to evolve with each passing day a clearer, and clearer vision of the life you want.
