At times they will take a lot less or actually want a vehicle or who knows what In one case while I was fishing aman/kid mentioned selling house.It was older house and wanted a boat ,his parents or grandparents gave him a property he didn't need or want.

I think generally if you get a low ball offer it could be a variety of reasons: you want to much, poor location, something is wrong with the property that you may have overlooked or the person is fishing for a deal.

With that property in that neighborhood you'd be fishing in the low end of the tenant pool for south city.I also find it hard to believe you could get $825 for a 3-bedroom unit in Dutchtown in that condition and I wonder if it's even a true 3 bedroom or some kind of shotgun unit with an "extra sleep".

We've found that the fee helps us know people are serious, though, and that keeps us from wasting our time on people who are just fishing and applying to everything in sight without real interest in it, who then ghost on you.We rent A and B class properties, though, so it may be different once you dip into lower income levels.
