It’s 100% a subjective thing, it runs contrary to your values not the country’s (I don’t know if you surveyed the country where the opinion would land).  

@Alec Jacobs your real estate agent or you, if not using an agent, should reach out to your lender and closing agent weekly just asking if you’re still on track for closing date, making sure appraisal is in, survey is being done if you wanted one, etc., if they’re not automatically updating you.

Finally I asked for to them to cancel my membership and a refund and they just ignored me.
