We saw on the Secretary of State's website that it is a $1 filing fee, but did not know if there is anything additional we need to do.

I say this from personal experience and within the last year having the branch manager looking up the filing with the secretary of state before I was able to open a business account.

In September 2019, House Bill 3609 passed, removing county filing requirements for entities that are required to register with Secretary of State (including Series LLC).

Then you jump on the Secretary of State to find the phone number of the LLC.
