To be fair they have done a very good job of managing their growth, building out their commercial areas, and having things to do there year round.  

My partner just received theirs and has already sent out the first round for the listing.

I have no idea how much your place rents for, but it wouldn't surprise me if a couple hundred dollars is a lot of money for your tenants and a rounding error for you.

When I asked about it, Desmond replied, “I was arguing with my wife, got angry, fired off a round from my shotgun.”

With this last round of insurance increases we are paying almost $50 per month per apartment.

Rather than second-guessing "what is the new hot STR market" as I see many do - I may be biased - I believe it makes more sense to invest the time in figuring out how to succeed in a year-round market which is proven to attract tourists year after year.

I am deciding if I want to do this on my own this first round (I currently work 70 hours per week so this isn't really my first choice) or find a property manager (or someone willing to manage mine) who has a good cleaner/handyman/team and has had some good experience with MTRs in this area!
