We have done it several times & it's WORSE than 'herding cats'.

If I add her as a joint account holder to that account, will that be enough for the balances to be considered in her D/I calculations.

If however it is a (parents want you to do something with your life theme) and you could rack up tons of student debt with a degree that doesn't pay that much money than that could be a recipe for disaster.You have to decide if you want to live in the matrix with the herds or outside the matrix.  

Looking back, it was a lot of herd mentality and missed opportunities real estate wise.

It blows my mind the literal tens of millions I blew off, all because of fear, engaging in herd fear mentality.

The home has a wood fireplace in the basement, and electric radiant heat upstairs.

And then we don't know if this immunity lasts or if you can be reinfected and how quickly... so we can be playing this game for quite a while until we reach herd immunity.  

So adding a resource that helps people find camping and spreads out the herd is certainly a net-benefit for everyone.

No other relative has every come up to her (D) and claimed their right nor asked for their shares.

Not sure if you have any experience with radiant barriers, but that's another thing I'm considering.
