Are they getting published in lists from travel blogs?

A study published by the CCIM institute looked at 50 years of history and reverse-engineered the interest costs of 5-year fixed and floating loans over 562 starting points and found that floating rate borrowers “won” 72% of the time.

I’ve expanded my sources of leads, but that’s a longer term project as when we establish new sources we become swamped with submissions of deals bearing no relation to our published criteria; at risk levels a river boat gambler wouldn’t touch, or flat out the source just shotgunning whatever crap comes across his desk, without even reading the documentation.  

The result of the survey are published for the whole country at their website, HUDuser.org and look for FMR, which stands for Fair Market Rent. 

HELOCs are usually tied to the Wall Street Journal Published Prime Rate (some are tied to SOFR).

See if there are any white papers published on the system in your state for example on Tax Sale Recourses website.   

Also, often times the list for the sale isn't published until maybe 30 days before the auction.
