@Martingale KimI would call the 1800 number listed on the letter and explain the situation.Explain to them that you filed timely and that you mailed it via USPS.If you have a certified mail receipt, kindly provide them that number.I would request an abatement of taxes.If you are working with a CPA, CPA's have a special tax practitioner hotline which they can communicate with the IRS faster.

My reasons for doing so is it increased (1) my credibility as an investor, (2) my knowledge of details that go into a transaction, (3) my local network of practitioners from contractors, lenders, brokers, and certainly agents.The reason why most agents fail is because they are interested in real estate rather than committed which, in this context, means consistently engaging in sales-related activities.
