On October 23rd, the Federal Trade Commission and 24 state agencies today announced a crackdown on 33 operations that deceptively claim they can remove negative information from consumers' credit reports, even if that information is accurate and timely.

Ironically, in Los Angeles - and most metropolitan areas i suspect, i've had a "fun" time education myself on local gang problem and how the recent police crackdowns on some gangs tend to shift demographics and promote overall gentrification of an area.

I doubt there will be any crack down at all in this area under the CFPA recently passed.When I made loans, my persistency ration was over 97%, people did not pay for any fees except a credit report until I knew the loan would be funded!

The properties were purchased from a seller that was forced to sell the properties as part of a city crackdown on slumlords, and the city had assigned a property management company to manage the properties back in May. 

If there was a change in federal administrations that wanted to crack down on a schedule I drug then yes you property could be seized regardless of your direct involvement.

I am still not 100% convinced that there is going to be a "crack down" in the industry.

However as we know this I much more difficult than it appears.. and in some states they are starting to crack down on this.. unleashing Non educated folks into peoples financial lives is never a good thing.. folks get on here and are encourage to start anywhere with no thought as to the potential harm they can do a seller and or buyer.. 

I wish the city would crack down on code violations.Which to your other point, Building code people on the KCMO side are VERY hit and miss.  

That is a positive for you The crackdown on corruption and other reforms has made it even more imperative for the wealthy Chinese to move their money overseas.
