Other times Ive also  "coupons" for cash off the rent as well...two 25.00 ones to use any time for the next year.

The tea,coke,etc. has high margin along with appetizers and desserts.If customers are being cheapo and just using coupons for the main meal and getting waters you might as well close down the place as there is no money to be made.Bottled beer drinks have low margins, followed by draft, followed by highest margins with custom liquor drinks.

I actually have 3 coupons to paid events too if anyone wants one.

your scenario is returning principal and interest.. that's why I think @Joan C. was thinking the APR was much higher than the coupon on the note.I grew up in the note business..

If you sign up for the free audible trial they will send you coupon codes periodically for 3 discounted months which works out to be a pretty good deal. 

I use both of those places but also purchase 10 percent off coupons and gift cards through Raise/Card Pool which helps reduce the overall cost.  

If needed you replaced those janky mini-blinds for 5 bucks each from Lowes, and if you (still) have carpet you found a random coupon from Savor Gator or some such for cleaning.

I was thinking about this once I get to that point, perhaps team up with local small business and create some type of discount or coupon booklet.
