Because we took action to buy, hold during a downturn, use the passive income to make our mortgage payments and maintain patience during a chaotic time, now, in 2016, we have an Amazon Distribution Center, a Walmart, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Burger King, dental offices and an emergency medical clinic within 3 miles of our rentals.

I guess we are a "regional" destination for many services and businesses, including an area of town with 2 major hospitals, a few outpatient type of facilities (for example a prominent higher end specialized cancer clinic), and tons of doctor offices and such.  

I am selling my three clinics and trying to decide if I want to do part-time pediatric dentistry and build another clinic to get business cash flow (but still be tied to a schedule somewhat) or make the jump fully into real estate investing.

There's none for Jacksonville, FL so here's what I have:It has the Mayo Clinic, which I'm no expert on nursing, but people from the industry talk about it like it's some sort of shrine.

While my background and skills as a clinical psychologist might not help me out in the financial acumen department of REI, undoubtedly my personable yet professional nature, my skill and motivation to understand others, and my desire to find mutually beneficial outcomes will help me as a landlord.

My final year in PT school (starting next fall) is 4 clinical internships, and I plan to combine that with a little bit of scouting.

I'm not finished with clinical years yet, so no there's no residency to quit, regardless of what gender I am.

My part time job is working at a medical clinic doing pre-employment drug screens for contractors coming here to work at the refinery, a good way to meet potential tenants  My wife keeps the STRs clean, that's her full time occupation.
