As a failsafe I used the NOAA Sea Level Rise Viewer - https://coast.noaa.gov/slr/I used different resources to check the current sea level rise rate per year, then 4x'd it, then pushed out that rise for 50 years, and made sure that my property was still above water at that level.

There are a few things that I want/need to do to my current home before renting it out such as:- Painting & Spackling- Replace a storm door- Install Deadbolts & Door Viewer- Other miscellaneous items I'm estimating about $1000 of expenses however what I really want to know is if I can deduct these expenses and the time it takes to perform them if I do it while living in the house?

I was recently playing with FEMA's hazard layer viewer that was updated last November (See it here) and there's an area of about 4-5 square miles just south of Veteran's Parkway that's not in a flood zone.

I am a long time viewer of BP but never joined until now.

People might assume that it’s a long term rental instead of a short term rental because of the way it looks to the average viewer.

Tik-Tok for example already has a "real estate side" in which agent/investor creators are connected with real estate viewers through algorithms. 

You might be surprised that viewers of the site that are not logged in as members do not see the signature;  try it yourself. 

At a recent listing I had 57 viewers first day, just 1 realtor card was left.
