Was very proud of the team and the mission.That said what in your mind is different with referral companies IE Brokers that specialize in selling product out of state in a very narrow niche and a RE Broker/agent working in the city selling the same product ???

I think the biggest question in my mind is how the income would be treated outside the solo401k.

So while I am familiar with the general process for that, I am looking to learn more and get ideas about real estate investing, especially to help me with this first project I have in mind.  I

Absolutely agree with the previous advices here - not to jump into lending but start with house hacking, which in my mind, is an excellent entry point into real estate investing.
