Just make sure to build a solid team with a great realtor, tax pros, and all the right resources.Having started in Columbus and grown up in Cleveland, I can say Ohio is a great place you should consider.

I didn't want to, but I am considering self-managing my newly-purchased SFR in Cleveland (I'm located in CT). 

I am also looking to invest in Cincinnati and Cleveland.

It's block by block in many Midwest cities: Detroit, Cleveland etc.

For cash flow, Cleveland and Dayton are excellent choices, offering cash flow around 10-18%.

I would bet the attic is the 3rd br so it's really about 1k- 1200 sq ft overall. 90% of the props in all of Cleveland have converted the attic to make it a 3 br.

Cities like Columbus and Cleveland are thriving and might offer some promising prospects.

I work with many investors here in the Cleveland market who regularly use bridge loans upfront, then cash out on a DSCR loan. 

I'm looking at a lot of opportunities, but after I run the numbers, I'm not really finding decent CoC returns and cap rates, especially looking in the Cleveland area right now. 

Let me caveat by saying I do not know the Cleveland market.
