If you have time and want to better understand the security clearance process and what can cause problems, I would suggest perusing the archive of industrial security clearance decisions: http://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/For example, here are some cases of real estate investors whose security clearances were denied partly due to financial irresponsibilityhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/11-12803.h1.pdfhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/13-00311.h1.pdfhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/12-08028.h1.pdfhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/11-07806.h1.pdfOn the other hand, there have also been a number of cases in which applicants with bad real estate investments successfully mitigated the concerns and obtained a security clearance:http://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/12-02336.h1.pdfhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/12-04143.h1.pdfhttp://www.dod.mil/dodgc/doha/industrial/12-01005.h1.pdf

However, court filing and archival systems of public records are designed to be accurate and accessible and are typically pretty consistent from court to court. At the risk of sounding redundant from my other posts on the topic, I encourage you visit the court and (with patience and kindness) ask a clerk how their filing retrieval system works.
