Hello Jeremy, thanks for getting started with BP and interacting with the community.

I'm beginning to read some real estate books and interact with the BiggerPockets community, so I'm looking forward to continuing to learn and meet new people in the real estate world!

A lot of people that never really had any interest in real estate per se, watch these YouTube gurus who fancy up their videos with colorful thumbnails in them living the highlife showing the simplicity of it but do not show the hard work, actually talking to people in which I think millennials have a hard time doing, interacting, as well as not getting held up on analysis paralysis.

Elie, I would recommend telling everyone you interact with that you are looking for properties that the owner may sell that are not listed.

@Lesley Martin, a lot of times we "train" a tenant by how we interact with them.

After you answer what is your business model for being on BP, then ask what is BPs business model for the way the forum is run and how your interaction supports that.  

Tell everyone you interact with that you are a real estate investor and what type of property your looking for.

It usually takes multiple interactions to build rapport before meeting in person 

The PM handles the interaction with the OTAs. 

This shell company shouldn't own any assets and be just enough capitalized for normal operations; it should be the entity to interact with prospects, tenants, and contractors, while your asset-holding entities do just that (hold assets and nothing more).
