Direct Mailing to Absentee Owners

Hi everyone, hope this message finds you well.

For the past few months, I’ve been trying to reach out to absentee owners of physically distressed properties.

I would either cold call them and then if I can’t reach them by that method, I then send them a physical letter by mail, but I’m seeing that the cost to ship these letters are adding up.

So, does anybody know any resources that I can use to send mail at lower costs?

  1. I'd use USPS Bulk Mail Services - they offer lower rates than first-class mail for sending large volumes. Also USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) allows targeting specific neighborhoods or routes without individual addresses!
  2. And have you considered Postcard Mailings? Postcards are generally less expensive to mail than standard enveloped letters
