Also it doesn't seem like they take into account that rents do go up over time while ones mortgage payment will remain the same as long as it's fixed .The writer does seem like they have researched quite a bit about the stock market , but that actually takes a lot of time.

But, please don't dive into one of the most intensive "feet on the ground" parts of real estate investing -- in one of the most difficult markets in the country (if you can believe all the other writer-practitioners on comparative wholesale markets) -- if what you really want is passive investing.I wish you well, Jasmine!
