Regarding finding discounted deals......That is the reason why I started a wholesaling business. 

Of course you can get discounts for having certain items FULLY updated, like plumbing.  

Hi David, you need a discounted propety, have you tried hyper focusing on off-market properties in your desired area.

That ship has sailed and it was never at the discount you're suggesting. 

(So unless they sell for much more than they paid they will only get a small percent of their down back, especially after selling costs,) but you did say they were getting a discount.

It is a common concern, I think if you are writing competitive offers then you can request a discount.
