Depending on the GE Profile model, there should either be "colder" and "warmer" buttons on the front of the left door or a touch screen to adjust the temperature of the fridge or the freezer.

I have a lot more success with it when I'm on the computer screen that has a touch screen.

I tend to buy stuff that is a few years old (definitely not the newer technology, no touch screen, etc.) and I'll usually spend $100 - $150 each so around $200 - $300 for the pair.  

Mcdonald's, Hardees, and Wendy's are all looking to roll out touch screen kiosks nationwide.One Mcdonald's store has an Octopus type machine in the back to cook the food.

I use the Honeywell 9000 wifi thermostats.They are color touch screens and have numerous levels of control that can be locked out if you choose.I can set it to email me if temp or humidity is out of range that I set.Never had any calls about knowing how to use these.I set a range in the preferences to allow temp in a range.

I also like this version better because it has buttons rather than touch screen as the interface.
