CO2 can be bad because it displaces oxygen/air and so in an extreme case, it makes you suffocate, but it is not toxic.

I have found it is super popular right up the point we're the warehouse burns down, the house collapses, the family suffocates on CO, or pick any of the other tragedies that have lead to building and fire codes.I have been GOP my entire life, but there is a real need for building codes, because without them some people will race to the bottom.

From old sewer lines, to water coming through the masonry, to outdated electrical, it seems scary for an investor.Other points of concern include pest control since many of the townhomes are connected.From an outsider perspective it looks like property tax isn’t as suffocating as a city like Chicago and tons of areas are gentrifying so fast.Has anyone considered condo investing in Philly so at least that way you’re not wholly responsible for building/exterior maintenance?

As far as renting to these types I can’t comment on that in the open forums due to fair housing lawsDennis when I worked for a big syndicator in the early 80s doing their land acquisitions ( great job by the way it was all Comish best of both worlds) any way we had apartments in Stockton CA.. and there were a lot of SE Asian emigrants,  and more than once we had them use the sink in the bathroom fill it with coals and use it to BBQ  how they did not suffocate I don't know.. but ruined the units.
