I've been looking into both Hostaway and OwnerRez for a little while now, so I'm glad to stumble onto this thread.  

I just happened to stumble upon Chris and Blue Metric Group while I was researching making the jump from SFHs to a mobile home park.

I basically stumbled upon the add on Instagram and signed up for the course, but their email seemed a bit sketchy so I thought to do some research before going, and I'm glad I did.I will definitely not attend their free' workshop, the whole thing seems like a scam.

I find myself lucky that I came across the BiggerPockets podcast a few days ago and now stumbled across this community.

Even when you stumble across the limited exceptions, you should always have sufficient reserves in place before purchasing real estate.

I stumbled onto this subconscious thing that I do on BiggerPockets, and I think it would help everyone who is new to the site before they make their first post.

If banks controlled all this business and did away with the broker model and like what I experienced the lender was a bank employee and was on salary not commish.. docs are prepped by the bank ( on my commercial loans that is free no charge NO JUNK Fees at all just appraisal and 1/2 a point to maybe 1 point. this is a stumbling block for owner occ especially first time buyers who dont have money for closing costs and generally need the seller to contribute you know I see it all the time on my starter homes that I finance for flippers.. virtually everyone has seller assist on it to pay for all the junk fee's and brokers fees.. its getting paid somewhere and that just makes it harder for those buying homes to live in ..
