Construction went from 8 weeks to 14 weeks due to a variety of reasons; main one being that I let the wrong person lead the project on the ground level, which ended up leaving things at a stand-still a week here and a week there, and those weeks and days of doing nothing adds up fast! 

Because the seller would be heavily in debt after the closing and would have to take out a loan to complete the sale this has created a stand still of the process even though the buyer has paid earnest money and hired a property inspector and R E Attorney.

Without the bank being able to perform any pre-qualification with a credit check, or soft credit check, you may be at a stand still.

Yes....1925 home...been renting for 3 yrs....double rental...2300.00 for house and cottage ...having old piping issues.and some roof situation. ..had lived there my self....had whole house lifted....has gone up 10 percent in value....just at a standstill now....plumbing 1925...not sure but may be looking at 10 grand or more...don't know whether to keep...sell....or use loan of some type....thanks for your inputs....

Without the court appointing a PR you are basically at a stand still.

At least that is implied by the way the drive mechanism is shown.Coming back on topic maybe we just leave the thread to die as no one will stand still if they participate.John Corey

:lol: I couldn't agree more, There will be 3 types of people. 1) People that cry and lose money. 2) People that just stand still. 3) People that see opportunity and move forward.I guess 4) would be the people who stock pile ammo.

I have many leads that need followed up with that haven't been touched because of lack of time, and I'm doing minimal marketing as of now because the few leads a week that come in, I have trouble getting to them as well.My business is in a stand-still and essentially losing money because I know I've missed out on deals because of either lack of follow up or not calling back new leads right away.I plan on hopefully being able to go part time in the next few months, but in the meantime, how should I handle this?

Although it would be nice to own outright there really is no "need" and I would probably put myself and my father in a standstill or at least slow ourselves down tremendously in further investments moving forward. 

My partner and I are getting numbers together for a potential offer and have come to a stand still.
