I've been putting in Home Depot cheap laminate flooring they sell at 68 cents a sq ft. with foam pad it comes out to 72 cents.

If there is a gap more than 1/4 inch between the Sheetrock and wall use spray foam to fill the gap and when it dries trim it away flush with a razor.

And yes, they get paid to shave years off your learning curve.

Banks were renting spaces to get business back in the 20s, hence commercial, and they rented to clothing, shaving, and shine boutiques and whoever else wanted to pay for a space.Some banks will treat anything over a single-family home as a type of commercial property as you are technically renting space as commercially defined. 

I understand folks trying to shave a percent here and there; but I don't do my own root canal either!

yeah i believe the instulation is R22 Rock solid, R5 sxp foam on the concrete, and the dry wall is something like 5/8th thick.
