Good thing, because the attorney had dropped the ball and was about to miss a deadline for the bankruptcy hearing - I spent 3 days going through evertying I could find on Bankruptcy - I went to court, filed pro-se (for myself) against the attorney for the people that were trying to stop me from foreclosing...We won!

Once upon a time, I had a job that required me to read the pleadings filed by pro se plaintiffs.There was one guy in particular who wrote beautifully, and had clearly done a tremendous amount of research.  

Already got approved for a 20% down and in proses of refinancing all properties.

The processes (and risks of pro se representation) are very market specific.

There are a lot of regulations (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act anyone) and court rules that you would be expected to follow as a pro se (why spend your time trying to figure out how to attach someones wages when an attorney already knows how).

Whenever a business owner spends a long period of time polishing their prose in a business plan, I must be honest, I skip it and head straight to the financials.

Is the bankrupt represented by an attorney or are they Pro Se?

So I only have two options: get an attorney or deed it to myself and handle it pro se.

I am not a DIY kind of person and Pro Se is not a strategy I have an appetite for.
