It is nicer to use than a regular chlorine hot tub especially on your skin but I don't know if the maintenance is any better or worse, personally.

The big difference here is that mineral rights don't need much upkeep outside of some property taxes in some places, whereas the home would be different. same with timber we did this when I was logging and buying land and timber rights in the 90s.
