The commonality is these are policy considerations politicians in Philadelphia used for election purposes not what was best for the City of Philadelphia.

The properties just end up going to the politicians friends for pennies on the dollar.

You know, like when a politician creates 20 shell companies with his family that have no sources of income, then they suddenly receives a payment of $3.5 million from a Russian politician, then that money is immediately chopped up and shuffled out of the company.Rules for thee, but not for me.

But suburbs are very robust for us new home builders. it is coming back slowly but it will come back if the city just gets their act together with law and order. which is starting to happen the ultra liberal politicians are losing local elections.

It’s like a politician saying they are gonna do this and that but never actually tell you how. 

It's a good "us vs them" for politicians to use, that's it, us vs them pandering. 

So, a politician came out one day and they dropped off truck loads of shovels and wheel barrows.

Politicians just don't seem to be able to come to grips with that obvious fact.That being said, this policy could definitely help house hackers going forward. 

Our politicians are always focused on protecting the tenant, but Landlords experience far more suffering and loss.  

But who knows, politicians are even less predictable than Texas weather.
