I did some research (after the fact) and found out that they are habitat for humanity homes and there are some more sec 8 homes up the street.

I would contact Metonia and look into their business model since they are a private non-profit versus Habitat.  

See if you can isolate your 3 phase needs and use an external generator to service that need.Check out the salvage yards, reclaim centers, habitat for humanity centers, goodwill centers, etc.

Also there is a Habitat for Humanity resale store at Hampton and Singleton in West Dallas. 

Keeps more natural habitat which cools the earth.3. 

I have donated homes to habitat in these areas..

There are a variety of stores around the area that sell like new or good quality materials from other construction projects, like Second Use, Habitat for Humanity, and more.

Call the veterans administration and ask about charity donations to wounded veterans.You can also call Habitat For Humanity for the same information.

They won't be around much longer =/ But one I haven't seen yet is the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store granted it's a mix of selections but the prices are great if you can get appliances.

Get a nice $500-$600 with SS finish, or if there's not enough money go on Craigslist or Habitat Humanity Restore.
