Obviously cash flow would be wonderful, but not necessarily needed.

I found this forum through the audiobook Crushing It in Apartments and Commercial Real Estate.I live in the Bay Area in CA, but have invested in Florida, where I fully own three townhouses bought over the past 10 years.

That looks pretty bad for your cash flow.

@Rolayne TaylorIt’s great that you’ve already invested in a buy-and-hold property and are learning through resources like BiggerPockets.

However, if a deal falls through, we'll keep searching for more deals until you get one closed. 

They try to source deal flow, and raise the capital for the deals.

Real estate wealth is built through long term price appreciation, property becomes (usually) more valuable over time, especially if purchased in areas that have either gone through development or redevelopment.
