I am looking to finance the erection costs only on a high end duplex in the Northern Liberties section.

ALL the homes were built in a factory.. transported there and erected in less than 5 days.they are factory built but not in the style we are thinking of a box mobile home towed down the road.Or like we have done in Oakland CA over the years.. predominantly low income areas were we provide a new house.. but stick built is not feasible so we drag in the manufactured homes.And trying to get a RE agent to lose his license is pretty tough.. unless you just are plain mean.

I too am beginning a marketing campaign to acquire a tear-down, and erect a new structure, preferably a multi-family new build; here in Los Angeles. 

You would have to erect a fence or some line to delineate the property line and mark it with no trespassing.

I had to cut down trees, remove debris all over, rebuilt fences, erect new mailboxes, and none of these are covered. 

General Contractors typically (not always) have started as carpenters and have gained experiences and skills (on the job or in trade schools) on how to erect homes and buildings.

Assuming that you’re not in the more rural parts of the county,  you are likely to be met with quite a bit of opposition if you attempt to erect a wind turbine large enough to supply energy for the whole home.As for the self-sustaining generator -I am no physicist, so I may be wrong, but it is my understanding that a completely self sustaining generator is theoretically impossible under the current laws of physics.
