I don't do facebook or linken or any other type of social media so this allows an hour a day or so for BP.. and I check It every day  even if I am in Thailand or Paris.. or Tel aviv or Singapore.. all the hotels have wireless.

Singapore I stayed at the Sands the one that looks like a ship on top.I am going to Japan in June.. so my buddy I am visiting there was pulling up air bnb  but those are dinky little places in Tokoyo and who knows how they smell beds looked horrid.. or I can use my points and stay at the Conrad for free.But then again I am not travelling with a brood.. just my wife and I.. and for sure would look at it for ski trips.

Investments from Singapore are 2x last year through Q3 however... which could include Chinese money moved to Singapore on the DL  https://www.rcanalytics.com/cross-border-us-q3/Unfortunately beyond mentioning 15B of Canadian investment into the US, it doesn't mention about Asian money going into Canada.
